SA Tennis Open, has previously played under the name of the South African Open will be held in February 2009, after 14 long years.
This is open tennis professional tennis tournament was first held in 1976 and was regularly every year since, except for three years in 1977, 1990 and 1991 and took place between 1996 and 2008. The tennis tournament held annually at Montecasino in Johannesburg, South Africa.Like all tennis tournaments, SA Tennis Open is played on the ATP World Tour 250 Series offers $ 500,000 prize money. This year, the SA Tennis Open will be held from February 2 to Sunday, February 8, 2009.

The first matches will start at the session of 13 hours a day from Monday February 2, to be played on Centre Court and Court 1 R40 - R25. The next two matches of the day will be held in the afternoon session, from 19 hours and will take place on Centre Court - and the Court 1 R40 - R25. The same sites the next day meetings and sessions of day and night will start at the same time as the first day.
A session will take place on Wednesday February 4, from 16 hours. Two matches will be played on Centre Court - and the Court 1 R75 - R50. Another party a session held on Thursday February 5, from 16 hours and will be played on Centre Court - and the Court 1 R75 - R50.
The quarter-final in 2009 SA Tennis Open held Saturday, February 7th in 16:00 at Centre Court - and Court1 R100 - R75. Semi-finals for the event will begin at 13:00 Saturday, February 7 is considered to R120.
