Every day we hear about the dangers of the sun and the negative impact it can have on the lives of our ... We ... heard of this problem, but rarely do we hear ... the solution
Every day we hear about the dangers of the sun and possible negative in the lives of our families. We keep hearing about this problem, but very rarely hear suggestions to solve this problem (other than to bring your sunscreen or stay out Sun's warnings). As a working mother and to take these issues seriously, I had repeated clashes with professional care for my children on what constitutes an adequate sun protection. Does not seem fair that I was doing things like walking back with the stroller or the recovery of the stroller with blankets to protect my child from the sun when my day care provider or even take the simple precautions such as sunscreen.
I noticed that our boys are in the sun is a matter of fact, it's going to soccer, park, beach, or just playing in the yard. Our children rely on us to protect them from the pain of the sun to burn as long-term effects of sun exposure. My mother constantly struggling with recurring skin cancer and the American Cancer Society, said: "A severe sunburn as a child, double the chances of developing skin cancer later in life." This is a real problem that we face together with our families.
Here are some tips to enjoy the sun safely:
1) limit the time in the midday sun - the sun's rays are most 10:00-4:00
2) Apply sunscreen before going out. Most Sun blocks about 20 minutes to be absorbed and become effective. Be sure to apply a "broad spectrum" sunscreen with a sun protection factor (SPF) of at least 15 and be repeated every two hours when working or playing outdoors. Even sunscreen can get tested when dry with a towel, sweat, or spend time in the water.
3) hat. Hat with wide brim offers good sun to protect your eyes, ears, face and neck - areas particularly sensitive to the sun.
4) Cover Up Use UV-rated or other tightly woven, durable clothing.
5) Use good sunglasses. Check the label when buying sunglasses. Sunglasses that provide 99-100% UVA and UVB protection will greatly reduce the sun, which can lead to cataracts or other eye damage.
6) Shadow asked. Try to play in shaded parts of the park or the backyard. Just because one does not mean they are out of direct sunlight.
7) Have Fun.Our children have one thing that my mother or even many of us did as children ... consciousness. Our children are blessed that we have an awareness of the problem and we are blessed with the consciousness of the solution. I hope you enjoy these tips on how to make your friendly Sun.
