Federer-Wawrinka Duo - Switzerland's Tennis Players
The Swiss players, world number two Roger Federer and Stanislas Wawrinka, who is currently ninth in the ATP rankings, have become one of the elite tennis duos especially after the latest victory achieved in the Cup match World Group Davis gold medal at previous Olympic Games Beijing 2008 August.Over during the six years of professional football from Wawrinka of 23-year-old began his tennis career, which has degenerated from position 171 in 2003 to place 54 in 2005 ranking 36th in 2007, while reaching the top ten in the current ATP Tour. The fact that Federer's career was very different from Stanislas Wawrinka not mean that it could easily become the next number one Swiss player in the coming years as it turned out to be a solid player and all surfaces that strategy is being one of the biggest challenges for a tennis player. And perhaps his learning ability can take over the tennis teacher of all time thing.
The five-time US Open Grand Slam winner has also mentioned that despite the fact that he concentrated mainly in tournaments in singles during his career, he believes the games he played twice with his compatriot Wawrinka has helped to regain confidence and triggered something in itself. Many experts believe realization of the gold medal duo has changed the vision Federer and opened a new door of possibilities for the player and a brief example of what could have been his Grand Slam victory in New York.
