Please do not be embarrassed if you have a fear of the ball. You are not alone and that is a problem that a lot of baseball and some do not admit to.I like to sincerely try to help you or a player coach.
First, you must understand that if you have a fear of baseball, you're not alone. Just the opposite is true. In fact, almost all of baseball hitters at all levels of the fear of baseball to one degree or another. Although the amount of fear varies considerably.
You could probably have hit the field and may have been a very painful experience and give you a very unpleasant long-lasting memories. How to hit the ball, even very depressing and scary, and you have every right to be afraid of the world. I saw the ball parks, everything becomes quiet, shocking everyone present. Suddenly, no one cares what score a game or a team player was on.If you have had a disastrous experience with this, it will take time, you may be afraid that evaporates. The best medicine in the world are many, many bats. Baseball coach who should be helpful:
1. Opening a position, and turn your head more toward the pitcher. It looks a bit 'ironic to recommend turning more toward the pitcher, if you have a fear of a baseball. But what happens is that you can see the ball much better. And, just to see the ball better to give a lot more confidence that you can get out of the way, if you're small.
2. Make sure that the front shoulder and front arm is not too high so as to have a very good view of a baseball.
3. Especially with younger players on the pitch the game of tennis balls or plastic, and sometimes throw the ball to the right. Watch and enjoy their confidence will increase when they come to understand that they can safely away the ball. This is one of the best baseball coach that can be used to help players, especially the younger ones.
4th And remember the safest way to get out of the way to a location inside. Why some trainers begin to teach other players baseball executives advice before teaching it remains a mystery to me. Tuck your chin to your chest, bend at the waist and to the fourth round against the recipient. Think of it as if you need a face to face with arguments recipient. This will protect your head and face, chest, abdomen and groin. You are much better getting hit in the back of top, middle or bottom or back of being hit on the front of your body.
Good luck and remember that you are not alone, so do not be too hard on yourself.
PS When I was 13, I was struck by a pitch with a flamethrower than 15 years. This Guy Sal, was two years older than me and threw exceptionally hard. I was a right-handed batter and the course caught me on the inside of my right arm. A very sensitive area, and believe me, that hurts. You could actually see the imprint of many ways from baseball on my arm. Small little lines that were very close. (Even my mother remembers them). I was worried about baseball for a little later, but eventually things got better. Finally. It takes time.
