Top 5 - Mexico Clubs
Mexico has not been very successful at national team, since they are only able to reach the World Cup semi-finals twice (both races held in Mexico). However, little by little, the most powerful clubs in Mexico, and today are considered to be reckoned with in American soil and international club level.I was going to make the top 5 clubs in Mexico, but decided against them in the standings, because could create some problems for the fans, as fans wonder why the team in a ranked team since has won more championships and so on. Here is what I consider the most important club in Mexico ranked alphabet only:).
The Mexican club - Club America
Club America was founded in 1916, is one of the oldest professional clubs in Mexico, although its first league title could not be won until 1956-1966. They currently own 10 national championships, being second only to Chivas de Guadalajara, who won 11 titles in their history.
