Tennis Footwork - If You Really Want To Improve Your Game To Let Your Racquet In Your Bag
Improving footwork and movement are ways to improve your tennis without a racket. For too long now coaches and people have both concentrated on technical issues related to the racket and not taken into account before you hit the ball, you have to move to this article will show you why it is associated with errors and what to do about it
It may seem like the most bizarre piece of information you've ever heard, but things we are going a little bit.
Think of what happens when you play.
You put yourself in the situation with a great performance of a service-wide good for your opponent. You are on the move (the other) around the court for the point and when all of your opponent attacks suddenly decide to climb the net. It attempts a pass that fly in the opposite corner and going to play a beautiful race only pass backwards in the line of a certain Mr Federer would be proud.
Think about what happened there.
You may have hit the ball maybe six or seven times, but what did you do most of the points?
MOVE
You moved all your tennis strokes, and you have moved to recover.
But the fact is that the time to hit the shots, not counting the actual time the ball springs to consume only a fraction of the time and the transition from your shots.
If so, why people spend so little time to work on footwork and court movement, and if it is something I spend more time doing?
In fact, the ATP tour on unforced errors stats is that over 70% of them are down to poor footwork.
Which means ......?
If you really want to improve your game is very simple - you need to improve your circulation and therefore, his footwork.
And here's what you should do
When we look at the footwork in tennis, the first thing you should do is stop running so much on the ground.
You should not drive if you are away from the ball and the only way to do this quickly. Except that most of your movements around the court should be done using hand blender and pass through the stages (stage mainly short movements).
Having good footwork to get the flexibility of choice. You get to choose the open or closed position, the Court of the Red Cross or the bottom line backhand or inside-out forehand passing shot or lob deep or short just to name a few. Without it, you'll have fewer choices and the choices you have, the likes of poor performance.
To improve agility, balance and coordination are vital for the game high.
Type of footwork exercises you should also use the cone drills, such as Zig Zag and exercises that use the scale as a support to training.
My recommendation is to start incorporating the exercises in each set of legs one of the lessons / practice time. If your coach is not up with all this, do it yourself or find another coach
You know that saying - what came first the chicken or the egg?
Well, if there is no doubt that tennis is a business before the shot ", so try to leave your racquet bag, work on footwork and movement, and to find out how well you hit the ball when you finally pull out of block.
I collected a special report on tennis feet go into the details a bit more and includes 10 pages of exercises to be used.
